Celebrate life together in Almere at the Connecting People festival. On September 16th, the Esplanade will be the stage for an unforgettable day filled with music, food, and activities for the young and old. The festival is a celebration of Almere and its residents. Various acts will perform, and there will be booths with products and food. There's also a joyful parade. During Connecting People, everything revolves around bringing people together. Parade
On Saturday, a parade will pass through Almere Centrum from 12:30 pm. People in traditional costume of their country accompanied by various musicians. A colorful procession of people who proudly propagate their culture or lifestyle. Start and finish of the parade is on the Esplanade.

Market booths
At Connecting People, you can find more than 25 lively stalls, with products from different cultures. It's the perfect place to learn about different cultures and see things up close. And don't forget to check out the 10 stalls with delicious snacks from different countries.

Accessibility
At Connecting People, inclusivity is at the heart of the event, aiming to make everyone feel welcome and able to fully enjoy themselves. For wheelchair users, there are designated spots near the stage. These spots are easily identifiable by special wheelchair mats. Accessible restrooms can be found at Strand 22 and Flevoburen. A sensory-friendly space in the KAF provides a peaceful and comfortable environment for those seeking a relaxed setting.
