9. Elysion - RUBEN RAVEN
Next to the dark Weerwater, a confusing party is underway in a white dome. With a chaotic choreography of light, smoke, rhythm, and wildly dancing, undulating partygoers with elongated bodies that come alive with the exhilarating energy of light and music, artist Ruben Raven pays tribute to club culture. Could today's club be the ultimate place for collective happiness? A modern cathedral for gathering and experiencing, always with an atmosphere of freedom at the forefront? Light art is rarely so infectious and mesmerizing (but it is a private event, unfortunately).

ABOUT ARTIST RUBEN RAVEN
Visual artist Ruben Raven (Almere, 1995) creates paintings, sculptures, and installations. After graduating from the Rietveld Academy, his work, often inspired by impressions of public space, has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including those at Swab Barcelona, Art Brussels, Art Antwerp, DMW Gallery, and the 2020 Best of Graduates exhibition at Ron Mandos, where he won the Audience Award.
