ALLUMINOUS 2025 is over! We had a wonderful time with all the fantastic visitors, and we want to thank everyone who made our fourth festival edition possible! See you at ALLUMINOUS 2026!
ALLUMINOUS 2025 ATTRACTED OVER 60,000 VISITORS
Despite having to close for a day due to storm Benjamin, we still attracted a record number of over 60,000 visitors.
Dates ALLUMINOUS 2026 - October 9 to 18
The fifth edition of our light art festival will take place from October 9 to 18, 2026. We hope to organize a wonderful anniversary edition during Almere's 50th anniversary, but we are still actively seeking the necessary funding to make it possible.
ABOUT ALLUMINOUS
ALLUMINOUS is a free festival. We are open every evening from 19:00 to 22:30. The route follows the path around the Weerwater Lake and is approximately 5.5 kilometers long.

Music programme
This year, enjoy even more live music from Almere during the walk. Music venue De Meester is programming three stages in collaboration with Kunstlinie and SALTY. You’ll find the stages at the Esplanade in front of Kunstlinie, in the forest theatre at Utopia, and a DJ booth at Maastrichtkwartier in Stedenwijk.
